Energy Security in a $100/b World
Track |
- Regional Security: Local Dynamics - Global Impact II
Tuesday, 31 May 2011, 14:00 - 15:30
Hosted by the Center for Security Studies (CSS)
This panel aims to address the recent extreme volatility in energy markets. Finding a ‘credible’ benchmark price, both in oil and gas markets, is critical. Asian consumers continue to put security of supply over price, a dynamic that some European markets still retain, but one that others are jettisoning. Finding consensus to meet supply, let alone reduce emissions remains as tough as ever.
